Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 89(2013 October)
There are now traces of secondary development to the still very fresh nose that is comprised primarily of earthy red berry fruit. There is fine intensity to the detailed and relatively refined flavors as the tannins avoid any sense of rusticity on the otherwise still moderately firm finish. I like the sense of verve and while the finish is still exhibiting some structure I suspect that 8 to 10 years of bottle age will see this at its peak. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
